These stones trace their origins back, way back to before time began. To the dawn of our Universe to from when our Galaxy came into being, to from when our Sun blew into being, to from when our Solar system came into being, to from when our planet Earth came into being. After the fresh new Earth was formed, and over the eons and millennia, its molten hot Magma began to cool. As our fresh new Earth cooled, this surface crust became what we now know and have named the Earth’s surface “Plate”. Due to the unbelievable enormous stress, natural shrinkage, and expansion, this crust broke into what is called the Earth’s Tectonic Plates. Over countless ages these tremendous forces pushed, “grinded” and “crunched upward” huge lumps and piles of the surface rocky crust, creating Mountains and Mountain chains (i.e. the Rockies, the Alps, the Cascades, the Adirondacks, the Sierras etc). With eons of “cooling”, climates began to evolve. The Earth eventually developed extreme cold periods known as Ice Ages.
